Woods - Terrain Question

On page 8 of the rulebook it states that Woods: Woods block Line of Sight to tanks hidden behind them and give Cover to tanks partially behind them. Woods can give Cover to tanks on their edges. Tanks completely within a Wood, and anything they shoot at, are in Cover. Woods do not hinder movement. So does this mean if neither tank is in the woods, but there are woods separating them both they can't see each other and cant fire at each other? Or does it mean if tank 1 is in the woods it can fire at a tank outside the woods (enemy tank gets +1 for cover) and the 1st tank is hidden from LOS? and cannot be attacked by the second? Or ignore both of those and it just acts of all tanks are in cover? (I think this is correct, but I want to be sure) Edited by user Thursday, June 23, 2016 9:59:20 AM(UTC)

yes Basically, any tank can see into a forest but they cannot see completely through a forest. So if the tank in the forest everyone can see it, but if it is not in the forests and the forest is in between your tank and that tank then LoS is blocked.
