Cool City Games – Port Huron Michigan

This was just a fun game to introduce a new player to the game. We used the Caen map from GF9 and some buildings from Plast Craft as well as some HO scale trees.

Task Force Gravelle: 2 Sherman Firefly and 3 Sherman V's representing elements of the 22nd and 27th Canadian Armored Regiments.

Kaumpgroup Pung: Jagdpanther, Panther, Panzer IV and a Stug representing eliminates of the 21 Panzer division.

The pictures pretty much spell out the outcome of the game and I forgot to take notes well watching the game.

I think the final score was 85 to 33. We as a group felt the 3D terrain added alot to the over all feel of the game. We determined that the destroyed 3D building terrain were impassable but would provide cover if fired across. The game was 6 turns and lasted about 90 minutes. Hope you enjoy the pictures. The church shown is a beautiful representation of the church at Sainte Mere Eglise.

Those were my Canadians. I have a tough time fielding M4 Shermans due to the low hit points (4) and lack of punch with the 75mm guns but I like to keep things somewhat historical. The combination of great German dice to my weak dice didn't help.
