Anyone run any good scenario based Tanks games with multiple players per side? If so how did they go and what did you do for scenarios? Want something more than just killing each other. Have a convention coming up soon and would like to demo Tanks. I have plenty of models for Soviet and German sides. I am an avid FoW player.

Look here: http://tanks.gf9games.co...ot%20Camp%20missions.pdf

Or find it on this page in tab "How to play". Third training mission is 2 vs. 2.

I think the largest game I've played in, to date, was a 3v2.
Soviet, British (me) and American forces with 100 points each against two 150 pt German forces on a 6'x4' table.
It was awesome! :D

Sounds like a blast. I think I would like to hear more about how that went.

I've done a 3v3 at 100 points each, on a 4x6 table with GeoHex terrain. It was pretty epic.

For scenarios check out the OPS PDF downloads in the Garage section of this site, the third mission in each OP is designed to be a multiplayer game.

From what I remember:

Two objectives, northern one in a town, southern one in a field surrounded by forests.

Soviet: 4x T-34/85
British (me): 3x Sherman V, 2x Firefly tanks with heroes and upgrades
US (Andrew): super pershing with all the trimmings, regular pershing

Germans: mostly panthers (with radio op initiative shenanigans), one jagdpanther, and a couple of Panzer IV

Soviets pushed up hard on the northern flank and duked it out with the germans who were advancing on the town. By the end of the fight they had sacrificed all their tanks to contest that objective, but destroyed most of the germans facing them.
The two big US tanks to my southern flank slowly advanced and simply drew a lot of fire. The super pershing was down to 1 or 2 hits left in the early turns but kept on fighting til the end thanks to all its defensive upgrades. The pershing got knocked out in a firefight with a jagdpanther.
Finally, my british set up a firebase near the middle of the table, with clear lines of sight to both objectives. Although one of those was pretty narrow, running down the towns main road. With the allied forces pushing up and threatening I was able to remain stationary and drop a ton of damage on any tank that showed itself. The Sherman Vs were also close enough to the field objective that they were able to dash forward to contest a few times, sacrificing themselves to keep us in the game.

In the end we managed to hold off the german attack long enough that their long range troops couldn't get forward to contest in the final turns and we grabbed a narrow victory.
