Looking at the cards in the store all of them apart from one have all the key words for the tank on the key words line apart from the IS-2 which does not have Heavy Tank. Is this an oversight?

Good spotting. Yes, it was an oversight.
This won't be an issue in the final product, just something that got missed when making the preview images.

Actually, this is somewhat off-topic, but since the cards we've seen are previews, does that mean the current stats aren't yet set in stone? For the most part things seem to make sense, but there's a few things I've noticed (Such as Pershings and Sherman 76s having the same firepower) that make me a bit concerned about the final product.

Also, somewhat more relavant to the discussion at hand, I wanted to ask about the Heavy Tank rule-what was the reasoning that went into it? Considering the traditional tactic of dealing with heavy tanks in most games (As well as historically) has been to get around them and make flanking shots, it seems odd that the Heavy Tank rule specifically removes this as a viable tactic.

Big Guns rule is also missing from the rulebook.

It seems a bit odd to me even having "Heavy Tank" it dosen't have "Big Gun" with that 122mm and has 2 Def comparing it with the 3 of the super pershing or the 2 of the phanhter. its fine if its the early model, but the 1944 version should have 3 of defense with that logic.

The special rules that are covered in the rulebook are the most common. They're rules that you are going to run into with most lists. Rarer special rules, such as Heavy Tank or Big Gun, only appear on the relevant cards, and are accompanied by their description.

You can be sure that as new tanks are added to the range, more special rules will start to crop up. There's no way we could cover all the potential, future rules in the rulebook.

Yup, why does the Heavy Tank rule disregard the bonus for a flank attack? Pretty much all tanks had less armour on the sides, and almost certain that all heavy tanks had significantly less side armour. This really does need to change.

This rule applies only to heavily armored tanks that have side armor that is comparable to its front armor.

For example the IS-2 and IS-85 are heavy tanks with side armor that is similar to its front so they have the rule, whereas the Panther and the Super Pershing have a high front armor and low side so they do not have the rule.
