I haven't seen them yet, but was wondering if it's easy to guess which cards your opponent has picked. Are most of them the same points cost, or do they vary a lot? I would think if there was a lot of variation in points it might be easier to guess which were picked (since all you can see at the start of the game is the point value)

Any thoughts?

Okay, here's the breakdown of Crew/Upgrade cards by points:*

1 pt - 13 cards
2 pts - 9 cards
3 pts - 4 cards
4 pts - 6 cards
5 pts - 4 cards
6 pts - 6 cards (from here on, all cards are National Heroes)
7 pts - 2 cards (both US)
8 pts - 4 cards
10 pts - 1 card (Brit)
11 pts - 1 card (Ger)

*Ignores face-up cards because they're revealed before they are used. Includes the four known Doctrine cards.

Once you hit 6 points, it's fairly easy to know at least 50/50 what a card is based on the nationality of the tank. Below that point, you have universals included, which muddies the waters a good bit.

Locally, however, we were playing with all cards face up, usually because we had an initiative booster we needed to use during placement or the first movement phase.

We also always play them face up
