Hey there,
today me and a buddy at our club played our first 2 games.
We were playing with the rules you can download on the page. Therefore we used the stat cards as seen in the store.
Crew and Upgrades weren't avaiable so we didnt use them. Critical Hits were determined with a W6 and custom-made table. As the measuring arrow we used 6inch for moving.
While playing there were some questions that came up not covered by the rule.
1. Woods block LoS as stated in the rules. But what about
this situation (German Hoster so no worry :P)(Cardboards are displaying the edges of the woods)?
If both tanks are partially inside the woods can the shoot at each other?
2. When is a tank "inside the Woods"? Does it counts as "inside the Woods" if it would get cover (e.g. 2 corners inside) or need the whole tank (all 4 corners) to be inside?
3. As i understand the rules, i can use the "Blitzkrieg"-rule for all german tanks on the field that arent in need of a repair roll?
4. Can the defense roll fail automaticly? E.g.: Both tanks (Defense 1) being stationary and at close range/side shot? So 1 dice for 1 defense minus 1 for close range equals 0 dice equals all succesful hits hit.
5. Is a tank, in the open, being shot from the front in cover because i only can see 2 corners of the tank (the front ones)?
6. Can a move be stopped at any point on the measuring arrow? If yes, is it allowed to do the 90 degree turn?
7. Does a critical hit make 1 plus X amount (as stated on the card) of damage or only the damage displayed on the critical hit card?
8. Any rules for shooting in the rear?
These are a lot of question hopefully some of the dev's can answer them.
Nevermind, the game is really fun and nice for some action. I really gonna buy the starter box and some expansions on release. ;) Hopefully the Upgrades are giving the game a little more depth. :)
Hopefully u guys release a german printed rulebook soon, so its easier for us german players too understand the rules. It can be hard to translate some rules from english to german. ;)
