Played my first game last night, question about the crit deck. Are the players supposed to share the deck or do they draw cards from their own decks? |

Each player should have their own but if if its a small game like whats in the basic set the one deck is fine

There is only one Critical deck shared by all players. For example, the rules reference the 'Critical deck', not 'Critical decks' (specifically Command Phase 4. Reset the field). Besides, by having a shared Critical deck, you don't have to wonder why your opponent only draws Ammo Explosion and Bailed Out from their deck, while your draws are fairly evenly distributed across the twelve possible results. Unlike X-wing etc it seems that this is made to share a deck as you
a) dont need to take a card to show normal hits.
b) you shuffle cards back in on the command phase
c) it says deck not decks
Way better way of doing it IMHO
