I'm working on what will likely be a solitaire project and could use some advice on a German build.

My three constraints are:

1. 95 - 105 points - as I said, solitaire so I can "cheat" a little

2. No, or very few crew cards - maybe a hero or two. Again, playing solitaire, I know I'll forget, oh yeah, that tank has...

3. At least one Tiger because...well, who doesn't want a Tiger ? :-)

I have a few ideas of what I want to build but curious what other suggestions people might have, especially as I don't know a lot of the effectiveness of the "new" Mark IIIs and IVs.

I was playing around with a 100pt list other day.

Had a Stug, Panzer 4 (late version) and a Panther. Upgrades were basically some hero commanders and stuff like add on armour.

You could take that basic jist, change the Panther to a Tiger and also change certain upgrades for the Tiger l/Panzer 4 escort type list.

As for the early Panzers, ive got all variations of them, but I cannot speak to they're effecveness as I am yet to use them. I imagine a swarm army of Panzer 3s with Panzer 4 shorts doing artillery backup could be effective. It sounds like the kind of army you'd spend little on upgrading and more on numbers.

Tiger Panther Pz4 Pz4
This combo has always worked for me. Occasionally I will ditch one Pz4 and put upgrades on the Tiger
