Hola Tankers,
Strange query which I wonder if anyone has played.
As the Germans are well known for their use of captured armour during ww2, on a whim, I converted a T-34/76 to a 'Beute-Panzer'; I attached a spare Pz iv commanders cupola to the turret and plan to paint accordingly.
Now, would this be a valid vehicle to use in a Tanks platoon, and if so how would it play?
Would I use all rules on the card regardless of its new owners, or switch out Coordinated Fire for Blitzkreig in keeping with the national traits?
I was also toying with increasing the initiative by one due to the new cupola providing a better commanders view; German combat reports using the T-34 bemoaned the poor visibility and battlefield awareness and many captured models had a German cupola fitted to improve this. But this is nit-picking.
I know it probably wouldn't be allowed in an official match but it should be fun to mix up with some friends.
Many thanks,
Gunner
BTW, off topic, does anyone know of any Tanks matches held in the South of England? My gaming circle is pretty small.

Captured vehicles aren't implemented yet, but lend lease vehicles are becoming somewhat common, so who knows how it will develop. I would take a nod from the Lee Turret "upgrade" for the Grant and have the cupula replacement be an armor card providing a small increase to initiative.
