I recently acquired some russians, so I decided I best do some testing for a paint scheme, not wanting full green or full white I attempted 2 versions of a fading white wash
Group shot
The T34 on the left I painted by quicky painting white over the green, looks a bit too white to me
T34 in the middle I put some drops of white on my pallet and then mixed with some water and gave it a wash I like it best as its a good blend of white and green

may need to wash the underside of the turret looks a bit too green.

I was wondering which one people prefer as the second one was easier to do.

Close up of a tank with only 1 wash

thinking of using eathshade to dirty the tanks up a bit and do some with 2 white washes and some with one to make them less uniformed.
Also been experimenting with watering down the wash when drying on the tank it helps a bit

They look good! I prefer the single wash, it makes the camo a lot less uniform.
