On the OPS 1.3 Encounter "Partly in Bocage" page, the rule with image states "A tank sticking out of the edge can see tanks outside of the Bocage, but still cant see through it".
Is it me, or does this not make sense (literally or grammatically). Should the second "see" in the sentence actually read "shoot" ? If that is not the case, could the scenario be further explained please.

In the example, the tank has made a hole in the bocage....imagine it is sticking out of a garage. It can trace a line of sight from any part of its turret through the hole (think garage door) to a target, and thus shoot it. However, if the line of sight passes through any intact bocage (think wall here), then it has no target. If both tank and target have made holes in the bocage, they most likely can see each other and target each other. Now look at the picture provided on the Tanks site to illustrate this and it should make sense. Edited by user Wednesday, April 5, 2017 1:44:09 AM(UTC)

Sorry but it still doesn't make sense. The image does not show any intact Bocage to the front of the Panther, just the barrel poking through a hole. In which case, using your scenario, it can both see & shoot at the Sherman. So the second "see" becomes "shoot".

Bocage rules a pretty weird. Each geometric "side" of the hedgerow portion of the template is its own section of forest. It's a rectangle made of four adjacent forest strips with a clearing in the center. As with forest, you can not draw line of sight through a portion that neither you or your target are occupying, even partially.

The images visble now at http://tanks.gf9games.com/Garage.aspx make it pretty clear and as I described. Yes, the first picture looks like no LOS is made, but as both tanks are in the bocage.....the Sherman effectively is treated as breaching it....they can see and shoot each other. The pictures leave little doubt how to interpret this rule.
