I hadn't appreciated just how much dust can be thrown up by a tank moving and firing but this video shows it quite well:

Smoke grenades and smoke generators are widely used now and in WW2 as well. I wonder how this could be incorporated into TANKS ? Maybe an upgrade or doctrine card making the tank harder to hit, especially for vehicles with recon ?

I think there was a post a few months back suggesting that the (to me ridiculous) shuffle moves of 1mm or forwards and backwards moves that end up in the same place could be construed as "making smoke".
