Hi!

Like the subject asks: What are, "those who sleeve" using?

I searched and found a thread where JP says there are sleeves out there which fit, but the two we tried, FFG Yellow & FFG Red, were too small. The yellow wasn't even close, the red was close, but didn't look like it'd fit in, and it was my buddy's cards so I didn't want to try and force it. (My copy of the game is in the mail).

Thanks!

The FFG Reds (Mini European Board Game Size, 44mm x 68mm) are what you need. They are snug, but the cards do fit. It's what I have all my Crew and Upgrade cards in, plus one Critical Hit deck.

The main tank cards etc can use UltraPro Standard sleeves 66mm x 91mm.

The small cards can use UltraPro Mini American Clear Sleeves (a lot of these we sold to X Wing players). 41mm x 63mm

Hope that helps.

If anyone needs any, give us a shout. Standard £1.99 pack of 50 and Mini US £2.50 pack of 50

This is incorrect.
American sleeves are 41mm x 63mm.
Tanks small cards are 44mm x 63mm.
American sleeves require trimming the cards to 41mm.

They are kind of an odd size. Seems like they are 45mm x 59mm. The 44s definitely work but as mentioned above they sure are snug.

Roger that!

So (carefully) squeeze them into the FFG Reds sounds like the plan.

Thanks fellas!

Cheers!

Actually not incorrect. My small cards are in the Mini US clear sleeves UltraPro 82662 as we speak
No trimming required. Tight agreed but no bending etc.

The lack of thinking this through is one of the things that irks me about tanks, you think that as a designer you could keep note of the most common card sleeves sizes.

Are you sure you aren't using Mini European clear sleeves UltraPro 82661? I have Fantasy Flight Mini American Sleeves (Yellow), which are the same size as UltraPro 82662, and they definitely don't fit. The cards are too wide. The Fantasy Flight Mini European Sleeves (Red) do fit, but very snug. The sleeves also extend quite a bit above the top of the cards, so I'm not sure I'm a fan of them. I wish there were a better option out there, but it sounds like these are the best options available.

Hi gents!

I ordered some MayDay mini card sleeves. 45mm X 68mm. They'll arrive tomorrow. Seeing as how they are 1mm wider than the FFG Reds, I'm hoping they won't be quite the squeeze. I saw some pretty funny facial expressions watching my buddy sleeve his in those last Saturday. He knows I'm even more fussy about my game bits than he is and told me I'd hate them. He had several corners bend forcing them in.

I'll let you know my findings after trying them. One of the reviews said they were slightly too big for X-wing cards which is a good sign if you ask me. 👍🏻

I got the MayDay sleeves and am saddened to report they are a tighter fit than the FFG Red sleeves and are much more thin/flimsy than the FFG. So, squeeze into Red FFG.

Yes the Mini European Board Game sleeves from Fantasy Flight Supply do the job.
These sleeves are only appr 1/4 inch (6mm) to long. I placed the card in the middle of the sleeve.
I've done all the small cards from the starter set without problems.

Has someone tested the blue Mayday Sleeves (45x68mm)?
Think they should fit perfect, and the 125% are just great, i also use it in this style for X-Wing and so on

Just got in a batch of British and Soviet tanks, and discovered a problem (based on the different packaging to the earlier Brits I purchased, I'm thinking this is a second printing): the Crew/Upgrade cards have almost all been cut slightly larger than earlier cards, making the Mini European Sleeves too small for the cards to fit in. It's not much, just enough that they won't fit.

I just bought 2 packs of the FF reds, mini European 44x68 mm, and they are too small. They are exactly the same width as the cards I got in the boxes I picked up this week. I'm either going to bend the card or split the sleeve if I try to force them in.

The sleeves measure 46 mm on the outside, and the cards I got are 45.5 mm. Maybe the restock cards are a different size?

Yup yup. Prior to today, the cards, while snug, fit fairly easily in the mini European sleeves. With the new cards in today, I split two sleeves before I realized the size difference. A few of the new cards were trimmed the same size as the old ones, and with a stack of cards, you can see the difference easily.

Well, shoot.

Any ideas on what fit these? The next size FF are too big (57x89 mm)

I must have gotten lucky. A new blister and the cards still fit my excess FFG Red's.

All my cards fit to the europeam mini, but i think i have just cards from first charge. If the new cards are bigger (will see sson) the guys who made this may be real idiots (Sry for this)

So I think if I take these to a fedex office place they might be able to trim them. Very poor planning on GF9's part. The crit cards are probably the most important to sleeve.
