Hi!! I´m new here! I bought with one friend two starter boxes from TANKS! and we´ve split the two forces between us. I´ve taken the americans (4 shermans. I glued two of them as 75 mm shermans, and the two left as 76 mm shermans) and my friend grab the germans (he glued it as 2 jadgpanthers). I´ve painted the Shermans, and I´ve created the "Fury" Wardaddy´s tank. Hope you like it!! I´ll take better images from these tanks this week (better zoom and quality) Edited by user Tuesday, January 9, 2018 3:32:08 AM(UTC)

Hi there.
Very cool indeed. Are the sandbags hand made on your fury? Im planning on sandbagging my fireflys when I paint them. Any advice on this would be appreciated. |

Kelvin, I´ve made the sandbags using a mix of greenstuff + milliput clay. You can make the same using only greenstuff, for example. For create the sandbags, I look at several tutorials, like these: In short: I make a greenstuff/clay cylinder. I flatten the cylinder with a flat surface (a ruler) and cut rectangular section-shapes of the cylinder. Then, I put it carefully on top of the tank and make a slightly line on the sides of the sandbags, pressing with a sharp tool (like a cutter). You can see the early results of my sandbags (before paint) here: Hope help you! Thanks, folks! |

That's great advice thanks. I got a load of greenstuff knocking about somewhere so Im good to go by sounds of it. If you interested in another approach, I went for log armour on my version of fury, all that was is lengths of sprue rounded out and textured with a knife. |

New update!! M26 Pershing medium tank:I absolutely love this tank. This model is very easy to assemble and very fun to paint. I was surprised by the size of this tank, bigger than Shermans. It´s my favorite model of the whole collection of american tanks for this game. Next update: The Stuart, a small metallic wonder!! :) |

Looks great! I'm in the middle of applying washes to mine.
I seem to have found the same decals as you have ;-)

Very nice perishing there mate. Your army is similar to mine in composition. I've added a Jackson and a priest to exactly what you have painted. My starts are part of my early war us force.
Would love to see your Stuarts when done, your force is looking nice. |

Thank you folks!!
@BloodEyes: Hahaha, really?! I bought the decals in a store here that has been open in Madrid since I was a kid. I didn´t found the decals in any place, and finally I was lucky and found it there. It´s a very complete and useful kit of decals.
@Kelvin: Thank you! I don´t like too much the Priest, but I like a lot the Jackson. The american M10 and Jackson are far better tanks than the Lend-Lease Soviet M10 (poor Soviets... :_( ). The american Jackson seems a very interesting tank and maybe I´ll buy in a future. For the moment, I´m going to focus my attention and efforts on the little Stuart.
I´ve found a bit difficult to find here in Madrid the lastest expansions of this game (Desert Tanks), and therefore thats why I had to buy the Stuart by ebay.
I´ll update this post as soon as I finish painting the latest tanks.
Greetings! |

Cool. I got them just to give me options other than straight up tanks.
I really want a hellcat, problem is it will replace Jackson when it happens. |

I bought mine from an eBay store from user mehusla (UK based); he has a great selection in all scales!
Anyway, the US decals look a lot like the ones you used ;-)
