Using the Grant Tank.

Looking at the Grant Tank it has two main guns, the hull mounted gun which obviously operates as an assault gun. But I don't see anything on the data card about the turret gun. I would think that it would get two independent shots, one in the hull and a targetable gun in the turret. Anyone have some in site on this aspect of this tank?

You only get one shot per turn. you choose between the top turret at 360 arc, or Assault gun (+1 attack).
Dr Large plays Grants and used wisely there isn't too much drawback to sticking with assault gun and that single armour point is very handy. |

I've had some good luck running a pair of Grant's. I rarely didn't use the hull gun, as I prefer the 4 attack over the 3 of the turret. I found that the key is finding other tanks to pair them with, such as Cromwells.

Honeys with LRDG and scout can also be useful making grants initiative 8 makes it much easier to get them into a good position only costs 18 pts for that as well.
I think of Grants as a cheaper Sherman.

If you don't mind being only initiative 3 shooting for grants you could take a lee turret for -1 point makes the combo slightly easier on the budget
Do you think the lee will have altered stats?
