150 pt US force.

One of my Pershings has Resourceful Loader and 2 Extra Ammo cards.

Hoping not to see the Ammo Explosion Critical card :)

I like using upgrades that don't often see the light of day so I'm willing to risk it.

I feel I should be concerned by the thought of multiple Pershings in that list.
Hopefully hero Puma with a bloodthirsty gunner will be of use to me

Well you kept mentioning jagdpanthers :)
I am experimenting a little and using stuff i don't often use or haven't used before.
And that includes the US tanks as a whole.

or 3 jagdpanthers

I have a big gamble which will either be outstanding or it will crash and burn, laughs either way.

Just be careful with that.

Funny story for me to tell because I was on the giving end. My opponent had a similar build as his tentpole in his 100 point platoon. A great shot by one of my tanks with unlucky defensive dice on his part and BAM, his tank took some hits, a crit or two, and then there was exploding ammo. And his Pershing was one-shotted.

Well we managed two 150 pt games in 2 hours, the last one was done in 30 mins owing to lack of time causing the only tactic to be ADVANCE!!!

In game 1 the extra ammo Pershing was the only survivor across a Tiger, Jagdpanther, Puma and 2 P IV, and 2 Pershing, M10 and 2 Sherman 75.

Kurt Knispel in his Jagd was a beast in game 1 with prodigious killiness but in game 2 after a brief flurry the crew bailed out and thought better of getting back in for 2 or 3 turns before a Sherman got round the back and cooked it.

There was plenty of little used goodness including Germans using Tungsten shot allied with Clever Loader and Ernst Barkman so if I saved the initial Tungsten shots the Tungsten is returned by the loader and then Barkman can have another go, interesting.

I had an M10 with Baby Richards, Seek Strike Destroy and Improv Armour. Game 1 had fun until the M10 faced off the Jagd so that other US tanks could fire at the Jagd. Dead M10. Game 2 due to lack of time the M10 remained stationary at the start of the game thinking it could pop off a P IV, Jagd AGAIN with Knispel rolled through a wood, took aim,Dead M10 lol

Good fun and plenty of death in a mainly Industrial setting.

Next time it might well be in a quiet countryside location as I have just bought an MDF church and 4 bungalows.

I like the tungsten recycler kit, I'll have to remember that. If you have the points, the difference in initiative between the M10 and Jackson makes all the difference. The TDs absolutely, positively, must shoot first, or they are doomed.

Because of the Tungsten situation I found myself WANTING to fail some of my defence rolls so that only 1 real hit was made thus negating the return of the Tungsten and making the Clever Loader looking not quite so clever :)

My M10 ended up against the I9 Jagd so in this case I7 Jackson wouldn't have helped but I take your point about having to shoot first. Maybe another time I'll have Inspired Commander and Hasty Loader for I11 shooting, I8 moving, SSD and maybe Improved Armour. 29 points though.

The loader was very clever, the gunner and Barkmann not so much.
Think I only got 1 use of Barkmanns try again in those 2 games.
May want to invest in a precise guy for that tank to try to get more then 1 damage through in future

Add in tungsten rounds for a close range 8 dice attack with 3 rerolls to hopefully avoid ones. If in a jagdpanther that is.
Thinking of trying a similar theory with super velocity bloodthirsty comet.

There's a lot more of them, these days, and they don't always agree. What's a little disagreement between neighbors, though, right?
