Just fyi, first 4 desert tanks are now on ebay. Mine are being delivered as I type so finally some good news.

I ordered a honey expansion on ebay. Hour later, seller emails me saying due to misinformation from GF9 its actually the Crusader thats out this month.

Now, im good either way, just made me laugh after all the drama. I almost replied to seller saying get on tanks forum, state of affairs is clear on there.

Its almost comical getting.

Yep, ordered a Grant, Honey, Panzer III and Panzer IV expansion from a U.K. seller on eBay that I have dealt with before. The dealer is top notch with good prices and reasonable shipping to the USA. I suspect it will turn out to be the Crusader and not the Honey, but I want all the cards anyway!

I'm hoping to pick some up at TANKFEST today.

At least one retailer does seem to have actually received the Honey though

Personally I have not been spending a lot of time posting on this forum for 2 main reasons.

1. Been kind of busy and have not really had anything worth discussing.

2. A few months back I kind of felt that the tone of this particular forum was becoming a little more negative with a lot of the sky is falling & GF9 is ruining the game &/or letting the game die changing the quality of the conversation. (To be fair; I noticed it more from posters who were relatively new to the forum at the time.) Since I prefer discussing terrain, modelling, battle reports, & what types of units others would like to see added to the game; I decided to spend most of my limited time in other places.

But that is just my 2 cents.

Personally; I am not worried. Things are going pretty much as I expected. With the roll out of the new FOW v4 I thought the release dates were a little optimistic anyways.



I agree that there is still a lot to do with what is already available. The actual Tanks themselves are only a piece of this game. Part of what makes this game fun for me is creating new 3 dimensional terrain pieces that makes terrain placement more of a factor in the outcome of the game. It is also fun to create different types of scenarios; like escort duty or take & hold the bridge.

That is also why I am not upset by the lack of new material; I am still in the process of creating terrain for DD +1&2. (I got a little side tracked with a few pieces for a Sicily scenario.) I also have some great ideas for the Russian Steppe Scenarios. (Pity they did not make cards & a kit for the Elephant. I guess I will have to wait and see if they ever do a Kursk set by the time I am ready for it.)
